Don Ray is heading off to the Balkans on assignment next week. If anyone wants to participate in a Forensic Fridays tour/lecture/orientation at the L.A. County Recorder’s Office on Friday, January 30th, I’ll make the trip down there. If anybody confirms they’re going, I’ll be there at 8 a.m. and I’ll stay until noon. The tour will cost only $40. The funds will go toward Endangered History Project, Inc. programs and overhead.
Still room for others who want to know how to research birth, marriage and death certificates as well as recorded deeds, liens, trust deeds, fictitious name filings, voter registration records and campaign finance filings. This is a rare, day-long event. Oh, and there’s a really cool buffet across the street where I know I’m going for lunch. Yum! Who else wants to come along?
The address is 12400 Imperial Highway, Norwalk, CA 90650.
To register, please email Don Ray at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (818) 237-3728.
Do you know others who may be interested? Please share this. And if you’ve attended, please tell others why they should go. Thanks.
